Placement Information

York University plays a prominent role in the training of political science faculty in Canada. York held second position overall among the institutions where tenured and tenure-track political science faculty teaching in Canada earned doctoral degrees, according to a recent peer-reviewed study (Albaugh 2017, 252 at Table 1). York was the top doctoral training institution for faculty teaching in the International Relations and Political Theory fields (Albaugh 2017, 257 at Table 2). The study was based on 2016 data.
